The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners sets direction and formulates policies for the county government, adopts the budget, and authorizes expenditures. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for stakeholders of DeKalb County through governance, representation, and accountability.
The Board is comprised of seven part-time commissioners, all elected to a four-year term.
