It’s budget season!
This is the 5th day of the General Fund Budget Hearings Cleveland City Council Finance Committee will hold February 16-26, 2021, from 9am-4:30.
This assignment is for the afternoon session (1:30-4pm). The morning session was a separate assignment.
On today’s tentative agenda: *Department of Building and Housing *Department of Community Development *Department of Economic Development *Department of Public Utilities
This meeting will be conducted as a virtual meeting in accordance with Ohio’s Open Meetings Laws as amended by Sub. H.B 197.

On 2020, Secretary Spreng stated, "Limited hiring [due to pandemic] has seen limited changed."

Cleveland City Council is the legislative branch of the government of the City of Cleveland in Ohio. There are 17 elected Cleveland City Council members representing the 17 wards of the City of Cleveland. Each ward has approximately 25,000 residents. Council Members are elected to serve a four-year term. Council members serve two roles in their duties: to draft and enact legislation for the city of Cleveland and act as ombudsmen for their constituents.
