NPU K includes the neighborhoods of Bankhead, Hunter Hills, Knight Park/Howell Station, Mozley Park, and Washington Park. It meets meets every third Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

NPUs are official, volunteer-managed organizations that provide input to the City of Atlanta on public safety, permits, land use, planning (including variances & zoning), liquor licenses, and special events & festivals, among other neighborhood matters. There are 25 NPUs across the city. They were created by Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson in 1974 to elevate resident voices. NPUs typically meet once a month to conduct business.
